Dead by Daylight Reveals Project T, A New PvE Spinoff

More information about a new unnamed game set in the Dead by Daylight universe, currently called 'Project T', was unveiled at Dead by Daylight's 8th anniversary stream. It's the first new information about the game since last year's anniversary stream.

Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming game Project T's release date and gameplay.

What is Dead by Daylight's 'Project T' spinoff?

Project T is a "session-based PvE action-horror shooter." In the game, players will step into the role of "Trespassers trapped within the Blackwater," which is a large, unexplored region of The Entity's realm.

As they explore the Blackwater and try to survive, players must use trucks, talismans, and weapons as they fight enemies and traverse terrifying environments. While the game is set in the Dead by Daylight universe, it offers totally different gameplay and a new experience.

The game's development will be heavily influenced by fans' ideas and suggestions. To join in on the game's development and join in on future PC closed playtests, you can join the new Dead by Daylight's Insider Program.

Dead by Daylight Project T Release Date Window

Although there is currently no official release date for Project T, with the game still in early  development at , we suspect that Project T could see a 2025 release. We say this given that the team are already looking to bring on fans to be part of an insider program, with exclusive first-look dev updates, in-game rewards and playtest opportunities. With this in mind, we're willing to bet the game drops in early access in the coming months ahead of a full release in 2025.
