Dead By Daylight Shrine of Secrets Perks This Week (May 2024)

In the horror game Dead by Daylight, the Shrine of Secrets is an in-game store where players can purchase perks using Iridescent Shards. When those perks are purchased, they are instantly unlocked on all killers or survivors; you won't need to spend any bloodpoints on your characters to get the perks you've purchased, saving you a ton in the long run. The Shrine refreshes each week on a Tuesday, with two new perks for survivors and two for killers. Now let's take a look at the Shrine for this week.

What Time Does DBD Shrine Of Secrets Reset?

The Shrine of Secrets used to refresh at the stroke of midnight every Wednesday. But in more recent months the Shrine of Secrets has reset on a Tuesday at 5 pm UTC.

What Is The Dead By Daylight Shrine of Secrets This Week?

The Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets this week is:

• Bamboozle - A unique perk belonging to The Clown
• Hex: The Third Seal - A unique perk belonging to The Hag
• Diversion - A unique perk belonging to Adam Francis
• Hyperfocus - A unique perk belonging to Rebecca Chambers

Below is a closer look at the perks in the Shrine this week, and how they work.

Bamboozle

Your vault speed is 5/10/15% faster.

Performing a vault action calls upon The Entity to block that vault location to Survivors for 8/12/16 seconds.

Only 1 vault location may be blocked in this way at any time.

Does not affect pallets.

Hex: The Third Seal

A Hex that hinders one's aura reading ability.

Hitting a Survivor with a basic attack or a special attack while the Hex Totem is active applies the Blindness status effect. This effect applies to the last 2/3/4 Survivors hit.

The Hex effects persist as long as the related Hex Totem is standing.

Blindness prevents Survivors from seeing auras.

Diversion

Being within the Killer's Terror Radius while not in a chase for 40/35/30 seconds activates Diversion.

• Once Diversion is activated, press the Active Ability Button 1 while crouched and motionless to throw a pebble, which creates a distraction for The Killer at a distance of 20 meters.

• The perk timer resets once the ability has been activated.

The distraction consists of:

• A loud noise notification
• Scratch marks

Hyperfocus

How Much Does The Shrine Of Secrets Cost?

The perks available in the Shrine cost 2,000 Iridescent Shards for Tier 1, 4,000 Iridescent Shards at Tier 2, and 6,000 Iridescent Shards at Tier 3.

Unlocking a perk at Tier 1 will unlock it for all survivors at perk tier 2, while unlocking a perk at Tier 2 will unlock perk tier 2, and so forth.
